Readers Praise for “Along the Lemon Path”
I absolutely loved this book. It is a first novel by my dear friend, Marijo, and I could not be prouder of her. I loved every minute of the book - and knowing some similarities between Marijo's life (for instance, she has twin daughters in real life and the character in the book does too). Marijo is a strong, smart and interesting person and so is the main character, Stephanie. The story takes Stephanie to Italy and the story line makes you feel as though you are there, experiencing the beautiful country as well as the amazing food. It made me want to go back! If you are looking for a GREAT book club read, look no further. I can't wait for my book club to dive in!
When you read Marijo Nicoletti's novel, "Along the Lemon Path," the author takes you through all of the beautiful regions of Italy with her beautiful descriptions of the language, cuisine and spectacular sights while she makes you feel like you are truly there!!! Ms. Nicoletti proves there is hope for everyone! Watch the main character go from being quite insecure to taking on the world as a confident, strong woman thanks to the help and love of her friends from home to her new found, adoring relationships from Italy! Pour yourself a glass of Prosecco and grab a cannoli while you read this book and experience Italy! Salute!
I really enjoyed the friendship between the "big four" ladies. They kept it fun and very real. Reading about their trip to Italy made me feel as if I had accompanied them. The food and culture was also pleasing. Along the Lemon Path is a must read for anyone seeking an escape--with fabulous friends. Marijo, give yourself a pat on the back, thanks!!
I thoroughly enjoyed reading Marijo Nicoletti’s first novel! Her characters not only brought Italy to life, but they truly captured the nature of good female relationships. I can’t wait for her next book!
Along the Lemon Path is a delight and heartfelt read. The journey Stephanie takes after a major shake up in her and her family lives takes her on a transformative trip of lifetime literally and figuratively! This book is a spark for anyone to pick up the broken pieces in their life and truly make lemonade out of lemons.
